SEWA Trade Facilitation Center entered in to a Memorandum of Co-operation with Export-Import Bank of India on 24th August, 2006.
On this occasion, Mr. T.C. Venkat Subramanian Chairman and Managing Director of Exim Bank and Shree Elaben Bhatt, Founder of SEWA remained present. The MOC was signed by Mr. T.C. Venkat Subramanian Chairman and Managing Director of Exim Bank and Ms.Reema Nanavaty, Chairperson of SEWA Trade Facilitation Center.
The objective of enter into co-operation is to promote export of STFC and considering EXIM Bank’s initiatives in supporting exports from rural India. STFC and EXIM BANK will cooperate with each other in activities such as product promotion and market promotion in overseas market. EXIM bank will also explore equity participation and loan service in STFC. With this, the export share of STFC will increase by 30%.
